Translations serve different purposes and need varying degrees of attention. Choose the right service standard to get the optimum balance of speed and cost to meet each need.

Reference standard
Most suitable for internal use, reference standard documents are translated and proofed by mother tongue legal specialists and tested for accuracy.

Publication standard
Any text prepared for publication to a wider audience needs an additional editorial proof by a second language and subject specialist to ensure the highest standards of construction as well as accuracy. The finished piece should be as crisp and flow as well as the original.

The team

As well as managing our in-house translators, editorial teams in London and New York co-ordinate the work of more than 650 translators worldwide.

Our recruitment is rigorous. As well as language skills, our translators also demonstrate a sound practical understanding of their native legal systems.

We also call on a range of industry specific advisors to make quite sure that any technical jargon and ‘terms of art’ are fully understood and translated accurately.

Investors in People praise Temple Translations after accreditation review

Investors in People is an UK accreditation which seeks to help organisations improve performance and achieve objectives through the management and development of their people. Temple Translations was first awarded the accreditation in 2005 and was reviewed for the first time with an assessment on 27 March 2008.

Temple has always been a company that understands and appreciates the value of their dedicated employees. The Investors in People assessor recognized that they consistently strive to promote an atmosphere that provides each team member with many varied opportunities for contribution in planning the future direction of the company as well as individual growth.

During the assessment Managing Director David Hammond was praised for promoting a positive and developmental culture within the workplace under his leadership and direction. The company was also praised for the range and variety of learning and development activity available to staff. As recognized by Investors in People, Temple Translations are a learning organisation dedicated to meeting their client needs in the most cost effective and efficient ways possible. "Learning is at the heart of what they do."

At the completion of the review, the Investors In People assessor concluded that he was "happy to recommend a further 3 year period of recognition to the current Investors in People national Standard."
